Well,I just got google earth and believe me that it is really a cool software. You can see the whole world by just sitting on your PC.
This software uses satelite photographs and enlarges them to the extent that we can see detailed structures like buildings and cars.

The good: Windows Media Player 11 has a simple and visually effective interface; excellent performance, especially with large media libraries; and solid integration with Urge, its de facto music service.
The bad: Still in beta, Windows Media Player 11 has some bugs to work out, though we didn't notice any major ones. Plus, there's no podcast directory yet.
The bottom line: For Windows XP users, Windows Media Player 11 is a must-have upgrade. It's Microsoft's best jukebox effort to date, thanks to a thoughtful redesign, impressive performance, and a ton of useful features.

Opera was an early challenger to Microsoft. The free version of the browser is supported by adverts, but these are confined to a small area at the top of the screen, so aren't overly irritating. There are two variants of download file: 17MB if you don't already have Java, and a 4MB non-Java version.
Opera has plenty going for it: it's a small application, so runs pretty fast; offers tabbed browsing; and remembers which pages you had open during your last session when you restart it. It also blocks pop-up adverts; stores passwords and log-in information safely; offers voice control and the ability to have pages read out loud; and includes a chat client. It even looks good, with a nice light charcoal interface. As ever, settings and bookmarks can be imported from other browsers.

A mom and dad were worried about their son not wanting to learn math at the school he was in, so they decided to send him to a Catholic school. After the first day of school, their son comes racing into the house, goes straight into his room and slams the door shut. Mom and dad are a little worried about this and go to his room to see if he is okay. They find him sitting at his desk doing his homework. The boy keeps doing that for the rest of the year. At the end of the year the son brings home his report card and gives it to his mom and dad. Looking at it they see under math an A+.
Mom and dad are very happy and ask the son, "What changed your mind about learning math?"
The son looked at mom and dad and said, "Well, on the first day when I walked into the classroom, I saw a guy nailed to the plus sign at the back of the room behind the teacher's desk and I knew they meant business." |
